We are seeking to capitalize on the full therapeutic potential of drug-eluting stents through the development of a stent specifically designed for drug delivery. Rather than retrofit a bare metal stent with a drug coating, our unique stent design incorporates hundreds of small holes, each acting as a reservoir into which we can load drug-polymer compositions. This proprietary design enhances the control of drug release kinetics and direction of drug delivery, enabling a wider range of drug therapies and potentially increasing the range of clinical applications.
